The North Shore Inn opened in April 1998 after extensive redecorating. Situated in
the town of Barnegat Light, at the northern end of Long Beach Island, New Jersey, it
offers a quiet, family atmosphere perfect for a day, weekend or several week stay.
There is a large meeting room that is excellent for associations and corporate retreats
for up to 60 people. The inn has spacious rooms with air-conditioning/heating,
secure wireless internet,
color cable T.V., daily maid service and beach badges. All rooms have convenient outside
access. There is excellent off-road parking.
All rooms have in-room telephones with voice messaging and wake-up
features.
All rooms are non-smoking all year.

- Near the Barnegat Light beach tram stop. This tram will transport you to our
beautiful white-sand, life guarded, beach.
- Near the historic Barnegat Lighthouse, known affectionately as "Old
Barney". The lighthouse is open to visitors to enjoy the breathtaking
views. You can enjoy a short stroll to Barnegat Lighthouse State Park and Bird
Sanctuary, located adjacent to the lighthouse. A large rock jetty extends deep into
the Atlantic and makes an ideal fishing area as well an excellent vantage point to enjoy
the views.

charter and party fishing boats. In addition, there are boat rentals to enjoy
